Intercultural communication and leadership is my powerful tool to support charismatic leaders and double their performance with teams and ROI objectives. Effective leadership in transforming and managing a global transition is key to the success of large and international organizations. Having witnessed this in my research and work as a CEO in the Middle East, coaching is a second nature to me in those areas.
My journey in coaching started parallel to becoming a Certified Facilitator for the Seven Habit of Highly Effective Leaders work shop with Steven Covey in the year 2000. Coupled with an extensive tool kit from NLP training and delivery, my coaching skills were optimized as I delivered group coaching in personal leadership development. My engagement with Amar Center for Design and Construction as a leader coach/consultant to the president and his partners refined my leadership in the process. When the time came to research Effective Leadership Roles in Strategic Decision making as a very attractive terrain for me, I accompanied 4 outstanding leaders in Business/Education and their senior management teams for 5 years and studied their lives extensively confirming my knowledge on leadership and developing further my skills in coaching.
I came to realize my skills should be now realized by an accrediting organization. I trained with Coaching Development in London for 135 hours over 5 months. I coached on one to one basis over 200 individuals including leaders over the past two years. My work with the International coaching Federation ICF started early 2015 as a founding board member for the Saudi Arabia Chapter, while I was busy training/coaching high level senior government leaders in Qatar. IN January 2016 I moved to the United States, CT and immediately engaged with ICF-CT as an active member. Now, I take responsibility of being a board member at the ICF-CT for 2016/2017-2018. I also delivered a forum, webinar and soon to be an international webinar on coaching intercultural communication.
Relevant to Leadership coaching is my challenging and motivating coaching style. I come forward with suggestions and ideas to a leader, provoking their thoughts and liberating them form constrains. My ability to analyse skills and break them down adds value in terms of how I encourage small steps in action planning. My prior certifications in training time management and personal effectiveness with Steven Covey as well as my intensive training in Nuero Linguistic Programming (NLP) and finally Emotional Intelligence assessments equip me with the right formula to identify negative patterns in behaviors and tackle them in a very skillful way making sure the leader moves forward and achieves the outcome from the coaching sessions.
