Teresa Pool will highlight the eight ICF abilities that comprise the Embodies a Coaching Mindset competency. This new competency reminds us of what we already know: we must transform ourselves first. This session is intended to provide a foundational understanding of the Mindset competency and highlight the importance of focusing and developing the Who of the coach. The coach‘s mindset influences how the coach shows up in all other coaching competencies. We will specifically focus on the ICF ability to "Remain aware of and open to the influence of context and culture on self and others." This highlights the beautiful diversity our clients bring and how our experiences and biases contribute and detract in the coaching partnership.
