Dear Fellow Coaches,
It’s already February 2nd, Groundhog Day! Daylight is lasting a tantalizing bit longer, maple tree sap begins flowing soon and CT is vaccinating in Phase 1b. There’s a lift in the air.
At our January 29th Chapter Meeting, we had a chance to reflect, connect, and invigorate thanks to our Board Member facilitators, Lori Candela, Stephanie Tishler, and Steve Porcaro. It was wonderful to see all of you who were there to share and connect.
And now, like serious gardeners preparing for spring, we coaches can use the remaining winter months to tune up our tools, prune away the unnecessary, choose which seeds we want to see bloom in spring, and plant some of those seeds right now, so they are sturdy for the long haul.
Think of ICF-CT as your local garden center, where you can find what you need to tend and grow your skills and coaching business. I’ve listed some opportunities below, but be sure to check the Events page for more:
🌱 Consider updating your ICF – CT profile, or creating one if you haven’t.
With your profile, you become visible to all of our 200+ members, and if you opt into “Find a Coach,” your profile will be discoverable by anyone coming to the site who is looking for a coach.
An updated profile allows all of us see and learn more about you and what only you can offer. I want to know, and so do others!
🌱 We’re launching The Coaching Launchpad on February 10th! This new coaching circle is designed for ‘newer’ coaches to get support in a group that focuses on the challenges, questions and opportunities that are an inevitable part of pursuing an ICF credential and starting a coaching practice.
🌱 We have room on our committees! When you contribute your skills or take the risk to learn new ones in service of our chapter, we all grow. Consider how you want to grow with us. What do you need that you can help us provide?
🌱 Did you know ICF has modified the Core Competencies? You can learn about the changes by attending this webinar.
🌱 Join us for the Tech Talk coaching circle, now held on Monday evenings, where you can learn from each other about strategies and technologies that are transforming our coaching profession.
Don’t forget to share the love, and your ideas, in our FB group and LinkedIn pages.
Believing in you,
Judy
