Dear ICF-CT Member,

We hope your new year is off to a good start and look forward to connecting with you in 2021.

ICF-CT is beginning to plan for our upcoming program year, which begins in July. The process for nominating and electing Board members for 2021-22 is now open and we invite you to be part of it. Please suggest chapter members (maybe you?) who might be interested in joining the board to help us establish and meet our goals.

The following positions are currently open:

  • Virtual Meeting Management Chair
  • On-Site Meeting Management Chair
  • Programs co-Chair

The current board members in these roles are available to speak with if you’d like to learn about the position. Here is a link to the Board -- each position and who is currently in it. Directors will also be available to mentor new board members when they join. We plan for an overlap of at least 6 weeks, so that the new member can understand his/her new role.

If you are interested in sharing your talent, while developing yourself professionally and expanding your network, or would like to nominate someone else for a board position, please email the Chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee, Monica Leggett. In your email, indicate the name, position, and reason for nominating that person (again, including yourself!).

One more thing … If you’d like to get involved with the Chapter but not be on the Board, please consider joining a committee whose work appeals to you.

Here’s a link to our committees. Should you want to learn more, feel free to reach out directly to the appropriate Chair.

We look forward to your participation!
