The ICF Connecticut Chapter wishes to act as a conduit for the many resources available to coaches today. The key questions we hear from our members fall into two categories: ICF Global questions (membership, credentialing, etc) and resources/industry questions.

ICF Global: To explore the ICF Global site, go to and look around! Most of the tabs along the top of the website are self-explanatory and you can find everything from renewal and credentialing information to events and coaching programs.

There are downloadable articles and studies as well.

There are many great additional resources to GROW as a coach. Websites, articles, research findings, podcasts, and TED Talks to name a few.  Over time we’ll be adding some of our favorites. And if you have a suggestion for this page please contact to let us know.

Growing as a coach takes time and conscious effort – it fits into that “important and not urgent” quadrant that Stephen Covey explains.  So we hope you’ll take advantage of the resources we provide and continue on a path of life-long learning.

Here are a few great TED Talks to start:

Brene Brown: The Power of Vulnerability

Adam Grant: The Surprising Habits of Original Thinkers

Tim Urban: Inside the Mind of the Master Procrastinator

Judson Brewer: A Simple Way to Break a Habit
