This year for ICW, our chapter will Celebrate the value of coaching with our local and global colleagues; Commemorate 30 years of ICF; and Collaborate at networking and knowledge-building events throughout the week and across the state. The schedule of events is HERE.
Assessment Share Event May 13 – More Details!
The ICF-CT Assessment Share has something for everyone, regardless of your coaching focus. Career, personal development, relationship, team, leadership – learn which standard assessments may be useful in your coaching practice.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore four different assessments in depth, and be provided with a PDF overview of all of the assessments shared.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome and brief presentation on how to select an assessment. Participants will then rotate through four rounds of assessment shares, and then we will come back together for a synthesis and closing (finishing at 7:30). Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres provided.

Regional Virtual Event - The Coaching Catalyst: Sparking Hope & Belonging in Uncertain Times |
Join us on May 19th for this workshop (hosted by ICF Minnesota / co-hosted by ICF Connecticut) offering coaching professionals a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and to enhance their coaching practices. By equipping participants with knowledge and strategies, we can collectively foster more inclusive workplaces.
During this session, participants will learn:
- Conceptual Distinction: Clarify the concepts of diversity, inclusion and belonging, and discuss their interconnections.
- Historical Lens: Provide an overview of the evolution of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace, drawing from relevant research and industry practices.
- Current Landscape: Identify the challenges and opportunities present in today's workplace regarding DEIB.
- Coaching Impact: Recommend actionable mindset & approaches for coaches to effectively promote DEIB initiatives within organizations.
