Dear Chapter Friends,
We want to alert you to a phishing email that has been circulating, targeting members with a fraudulent request to purchase credit cards or gift cards on behalf of ICF or me, Stephanie Tishler.
The email may appear to come from a trusted source, such as a manager or executive, and may include urgent language such as:
"Can you purchase some credit cards and send me the codes immediately? I’ll reimburse you later."
Please be advised that this is a scam. Do not respond, click any links, or comply with the request. This is an attempt to steal funds or personal information.
You can see it's not from me if you hover over the "from" email.
What to Do:
- Do not reply to the email.
- Do not purchase any cards or share any payment information.
- Then, delete it from your inbox and trash folder.
ICF-CT will never ask you to make personal purchases on its behalf via email or without formal procedures.
If you’re unsure about any suspicious message, always verify directly with the person via a known phone number or official email or communication channel.
Thank you for your understanding
Best,

Stephanie Tishler, ICF-CT Chapter President |
