Biography
With over 25 years of experience in professional development, teaching and personal growth, I am passionate about assisting individuals through career and life transitions.
As a Career Coach at Move Into Change, I guide clients through the various phases of career development. From discovering passions, identifying skills, and accessing motivators to the practicalities of the job search, I excel at recognizing what is essential to clients and customizing resources that support their growth. I have coached adults transitioning back into the workforce, non-traditional learners, creatives, graduates entering the workforce, and people in recovery who have worked or are now working in business, education, and not-for-profit settings. II have also worked as a career consultant with REA, where I supported the significant others of employees relocating to the Metro New York area from the US and abroad.
Most recently I became a certified Whole Person Coach and a Trauma Informed Coach and am currently preparing for my PCC. I received my initial coaching training at The Life Purpose Institute and have a Master’s Degree in Holistic Thinking. I am a Board Certified Coach, former ACC, and Certified Focusing Professional. Prior to coaching, I served as Professional Development Director at The Mead School, where I mentored new teachers gaining expertise in personality types, learning styles, human development, curriculum delivery, and self-care techniques.
My first career as a professional ballet dancer is the source of my abiding passion for dance and embodiment. I teach Improvisational dance and perform with a NYC dance company that champions beauty in what others might call “disability.” I bring the wisdom of the body into work with my clients from basic mindfulness to developing presence and confidence for interviewing and presentations.
Serving on ICF-CT Board as President (and other roles) was a highlight of the leadership opportunities I've been lucky to have in recent years. I am thrilled to be part of growing the Connecticut chapter and I'm looking forward to getting to know our members!
