MORE EVENT DETAILS
“How to Work with (Almost) Anyone” Featuring Michael Bungay Stanier
Our chapter is kicking off ICW early (on May 9) by joining our friends at ICF-NE to co-host Michael Bungay Stanier: How to Work with (Almost) Anyone.
In this practical and interactive session, you'll see how you can build the best possible working relationship with anyone (well, almost anyone)—and help your clients do the same.
You will leave with a renewed optimism about the quality of working relationships, a determination to actively manage them, and a plan to get things started. Earn 1.5 CCEUs in Resource Development.
We have two in-person events during the week of May 13th!
May 14: “Nurture with NetWeaving” at Pond House Cafe in West Hartford
Join us for an evening of socializing, celebrating, and learning the skill of “NetWeaving” to expand your professional network. Take the opportunity to have a professional headshot done with our on-site brand photographer, Nicole Bedard. Enjoy a casual dinner and take a tour of this lovely location!
May 17: “Sow the Seeds of Coaching”
ICW continues with this community give-back event led by chapter member and certified Advanced Master Gardener Jean Stetz-Puchalski, PCC, along with certified Advanced Master Gardeners Andrea Sarnik, Barbara Stauder, and Sandi Wilson, Fairfield County UConn Master Gardener Program Coordinator. Join us for a social and educational morning of:
- Learning, planting and community service
- Conversation and connection with fellow coaches
- An opportunity to explore, grow, and discover the possibilities for individual and professional development
Let’s celebrate coaching and the community we have, together! Please RSVP in advance and guests are welcome.
Join ICF’s “Coast to Coast” Pro Bono Coaching Challenge
Several ICF chapters have joined together to lead this initiative to promote coaching across the U.S.
This challenge invites coaches to offer at least 3 hours of pro bono coaching by May 19. The coaching may be individual, team, group, mentor coaching, or coaching supervision. Individual coaches from any chapter or anywhere in the world are invited to participate – making this a true coast to coast effort!
We invite you to be creative in finding your pro bono clients in order to amplify the positive impact of coaching.
Once you register, you’ll be provided (by ICF-LA) with a graphic and sample social media post to help you promote your pro bono coaching.
