The Neuroscience of Bias

Presented by Hayden Lee, MCC and Neuroscientist Kelly Kent, Ph.D.
Master Mind Institute

6:00 pm - 7:30pm EDT

CCEUs: 1.0 Core Coampetencies; 0.5 Resource Development

If we are ready to acknowledge that we are all swimming in racist waters, attempts to see and interrupt some of the resulting harm would be strengthened by an understanding that EVERYONE’s brain is racist. This interactive session will provide an exploration of the flaws and assets of the human brain and the coaching approach that will support the uncomfortable but necessary work of interrupting racist structures and systems.

Pro Tip: Everyone’s brain is also incredibly changeable and able to build diverse and supportive relationships. This session explores the neuroscience of bias and puts our plasticity into practice using Master Certified Coach Hayden’s Straight A’s of Transformation.
