The September 6th Virtual Coach Café
Join us for some stimulating conversation that’s bound to give you more of a kick than caffeine alone!

A clear, informal, and flexible structure invites sharing of ideas, questions, tools, and current projects of interest to current coaches, those in training, and those interested in learning about coaching from other coaches.

Our “See You in September” Social on September 8
Wear your flip-flops and reconnect with your ICF-CT friends and colleagues for a few hours of fun, sun, beach time and socializing at one of the treasures of our state, Hammonasset State Park. Enjoy the company of friends, and even take a dip in the Sound!  Food and soft drinks will be provided.

At arrival, ask the attendant how to get to Pavilion/Shelter #2

Fee: Chapter member:  $25; Guest: $35

Parking is free with a CT license plate. (Fun Fact: Your parking fee for all CT State Parks is part of your vehicle registration fee.)  Just steps from the beach, the Pavilion is shaded and has picnic tables, plenty of room, and facilities.

“Get Physical! Expand Your Coaching with Somatic Strategies” with Judy Garfinkel, PCC

 
Judith (Judy) Garfinkel offers an interactive presentation incorporating techniques to enhance your clients' journey by welcoming their bodies (and yours) into it. In this workshop, you will:
  • Come away understanding why somatic (body-oriented) approaches in coaching matter to us and our clients.
  • Learn how to introduce somatics into the session including language to use and how to prep clients for somatic-based exercises
  • Gain specific techniques and exercises to shift clients' perspective, body state, and problem-solving potential.
