Coaching is at its best when we learn from one another. During this collaborative session, we’ll open up “The Coach’s Toolbox” to discover practical tools and creative techniques that others use in their sessions. You’ll leave with new resources, renewed inspiration, and a stronger sense of community connection.

In this interactive session, participants will rotate through a series of round robin stations where they will learn about what other coaches have in their toolkits. Our expert members, certified in a variety of well-regarded tools, will share their knowledge, and discuss how they can enhance client outcomes. This event provides a valuable opportunity for learning, networking, and skill-building.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow coaches, gain practical knowledge, and add to your toolkit.

Presenter Information

The ICF-CT Coaching Toolkit Exchange has something for everyone, regardless of your coaching focus! Career, personal development, relationship, team, leadership – we’ve got you covered!

Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of tools and techniques in depth, and be provided with a PDF overview of all of the tools shared.

We begin at 6:00pm, with a welcome and brief overview. From there participants will rotate through rounds of tool shares, and then we will come back together for a synthesis and closing (finished at 8:00pm).

The Life Story Tool: Insight to Intentional Action

This session introduces a structured Life Story framework inspired by Now What? 90 Days to a New Life Direction by Laura Fortgang, and expanded through my coaching methodology. Rather than guiding participants through the full life story process, this workshop demonstrates how to effectively facilitate the tool with clients

Customized Wheel of Life for Affinity Groups

The Customized Wheel of Life for Affinity Groups is an adaptable coaching and reflection tool that helps individuals assess satisfaction, alignment, and priorities across life domains that are meaningful to their specific life stage or shared experience. While the traditional Wheel of Life offers a general overview of life balance, this customized approach invites coaches and participants to design categories that reflect the values, goals, challenges, and realities of a particular population such as individuals preparing for retirement, women in transition, leaders, caregivers, or entrepreneurs.

Storytelling & Mirroring

The practice of storytelling & mirroring provides space for an individual to tell a story from their life and then have it mirrored back to them by a person who has deeply listened to that story. This deep listening invites a nonjudgmental surfacing of reoccurring patterns and universal energies than can then be shared back to the storyteller - encouraging recognition and deep reflection.
