As coaches, we spend much of the year creating space for others - to reflect, grow, navigate change, and move forward. Yet we rarely give ourselves the same opportunity.
As autumn arrives and the pace of life begins to accelerate, ICF Connecticut invites our coaching community to pause, reconnect, and recharge. Our Seasonal Recharge is a full-day experiential event designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit while strengthening the connections that make our coaching community so special.
This unique peer-to-peer event celebrates the diverse practices that help coaches sustain their energy, resilience, and presence. Throughout the day, participants will experience hands-on sessions led by experts in their fields, exploring a wide range of approaches for personal well-being and renewal.
We are seeking presenters who are passionate about sharing a wellness practice that others can experience firsthand. Sessions should be interactive and experiential, allowing participants to leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and equipped with practical strategies they can continue using long after the day ends.
The event will be held on Friday November 13th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Connected Approach Leadership Center in New Britain, Connecticut. The day will include a light breakfast, welcome gathering, four experiential learning blocks, lunch, closing reflections, and opportunities for networking throughout the day.
Participants will select three 75-minute sessions from a variety of wellness offerings. Presenters may be asked to present multiple sessions depending on attendance during the day, allowing multiple groups to experience their practice. To foster community and connection, presenters are asked to participate in the entire event, arriving at 8:00 a.m. for set-up and remaining through the closing gathering.
If you have a wellness practice that has made a meaningful difference in your own life and believe it could benefit fellow coaches, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Whether your expertise lies in mindfulness, movement, creativity, nature, breathwork, reflection, or another restorative practice, we'd love to hear from you.
Proposal submissions are due by September 30th. All applicants will receive confirmation upon submission and will be notified of the selection decisions by October 5th.
