International Coaching Week 2017

ICF coaches are the best trained and meet the highest standards in coaching.  The 2017 International Coaching Week (ICW) was a great success. ICF chapters from around the world invited individuals and organizations to “Experience Coaching.” This week-long celebration of coaching, held late in May each year, provides a platform to enhance awareness of professional coaching and its many benefits.

ICF-CT offered a number of pro-bono coaching opportunities, allowing us to give back to the community as a coach, spread the benefits of coaching to others and receive benefits from these opportunities too.

Here’s what we did in 2017 and we expect 2018 International Coaching Week to be just as fabulous!

  • Drop-in coaching with veterans at Rocky Hill VA Home, Thursday, May 18
  • Oasis and Drop-in Coaching at Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services, IRIS, New Haven – Friday, May 19, 2 – 5 pm. Contact for more information
  • Drop-in Coaching Corner at Berkin’s Blend, Glastonbury a variety of dates and times are available. Contact Stacey Zackin to get on the schedule,
  • Drop-in Coaching Corner at Tusk and Cup, Wilton, Thursday, May 18 noon – 3 pm, contact Althea Lockwood for dates and times, .

International Coaching week is a perfect time to make a special pro-bono presentation.  Experiment and share the benefits of coaching by providing the experience to others.

Let us know what you plan to do to acknowledge, promote and celebrate coaching during International Coaching Week.
