A Call for Participation and Input

Building Belonging, Together

We are delighted to share this message from Carolina M. Mata:

I'm excited to introduce myself as your new Culture and Belonging leader! I'm energized to step in and help our chapter create meaningful change—not just for our members, but for everyone we serve in our community.

My vision is simple: to weave inclusion and belonging into the fabric of who we are, from our leadership practices to our daily interactions. But here's the thing—I don't have all the answers, and I don't want to do this alone. The best solutions come from diverse perspectives and shared passion.

I'm looking for 2-3 dedicated members who feel called to this work and want to help define what culture and belonging truly means for our chapter. Together, we'll navigate these important conversations and build something sustainable that reflects our values in action.

If you have ideas, energy, and a heart for creating spaces where everyone can thrive, I'd love to hear from you. This is our opportunity to shape the future of our chapter culture—let's do it together.

Ready to join the conversation? Drop me an email [mata.excelerateconsulting@gmail.com] and let's get started.

Want to get involved with Special Events? Here’s your chance!

ICF-CT is forming a Special Events Committee to help plan and execute our larger chapter events for the upcoming year—and we’d love your voice at the table! If you’re passionate about community, connection, and creating impactful experiences, this is a great opportunity to get involved.

We’re also looking to grow our Programs Committee! If you're interested in shaping our monthly programming and bringing fresh ideas to our chapter, I’d love to connect with you.

Interested in either (or both!)? Let’s chat! Reach out to Megan Lye at programs@icf-ct.org— we’d be thrilled to have you join us.
