Hello everyone!
This month I’m going to focus on three upcoming and very exciting opportunities for our chapter members:
1) Our February 11th “Benefits of a Credential” panel conversation,
2) Our very first ever ICF-CT Conference coming up on April 30th & May 1st, and
3) Presenting at that very same conference.
First, on the calendar: our February 11th credentialing conversation. If you’re considering getting a credential or moving up to a new credential this is something you don’t want to miss. ACC, PCC, MCC, ACTC – they’re all included in this conversation! Chapter members who have made the decision to obtain one or more of these credentials will share their experiences with the process and the outcome. This is your chance to hear firsthand about the benefits and impact of an ICF credential. Bring your questions! Bring your doubts! Register here.
Second, our first ever ICF-CT Conference: Elevate Your Coaching Journey. The dates are Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st, the location the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury. The overall theme of the conference is designing a coaching practice that grows with you, a thread that will carry over from our Thursday evening workshop and networking session, to our Friday afternoon celebration of where we’ve been and where we’re going! In between you’ll be treated to a keynote session on Friday morning (this speaker is amazing, by the way), followed by morning breakout sessions focused on supporting your current practice, an informal networking lunch, afternoon breakout sessions focused on strengthening your practice & our profession for the future, and a panel discussion featuring previous chapter leaders. There’s so much goodness packed into this vent! Participants will leave feeling connected, energized, and confident in their ability to design a practice that grows with them – regardless of their years coaching or focus area. This is an event you don’t want to miss. For a bit more information and to join our waitlist, click here.
Third, please consider submitting an application to be a presenter at the conference. Conference attendees will choose from one of three morning breakout sessions and one of three afternoon breakout sessions—that’s six opportunities to share with your colleagues! Each session will be 60 minutes, and linked to one of six topic areas outlined in the presenter application and to the ICF Core Competencies. If you have an idea for a session that’s engaging, interactive, and relevant for professional coaches, please consider submitting an application and being an active part of offering this event to our coaching community! To access the presenter application, click here.
As always, feel free to reach out to me directly to find out more, talk coaching, or simply connect. I hope to see you – either virtually or in-person at an upcoming event. Until then,
Keep sparkling!
