Chapter’s Inaugural Conference a Resounding Success!
The ICF-CT Inaugural Conference was a great success, bringing together almost 100 participants, a lineup of amazing presenters and a group of enthusiastic, supportive sponsors. This was a BIG effort, and we want to thank everyone involved.
We know the value of feedback, and in the interest of continual improvement, we’re asking all conference participants to take our feedback survey here. Thank you in advance!

Pro Bono Coaching Opportunities During ICW
Annual Membership Grants Available - Applications Due May 31
ICF-CT is pleased to offer two annual membership grants in support of professional growth, inclusion, and access within the coaching community for coaches who reside in CT who may benefit from financial assistance. Each grant covers one year of ICF Global membership (which includes ICF-CT chapter membership) as well as the ICF-CT Member Program & Event Pass (PEP). The PEP enables recipients to attend most ICF-CT chapter meetings and events at no cost.
Individuals interested in applying are invited to complete a brief application available on the ICF-CT website. Applicants will be asked to share how receiving a membership grant would support them at this time or why the opportunity to begin or renew their membership would be meaningful.
Completed applications must be submitted on or before May 31, with grant recipients notified on or around July 1.
Core Competency Practice for Members - May 15
These facilitated discussions for chapter members continue to be a favorite! Participants will consider the meaning, purpose and application of one competency through the lens of real-life coaching scenarios. We’ll then break into smaller groups to consider how the competencies can apply to their own coaching challenges. No fee, but please register!
Design & Facilitation for Coaches - Next in Series on May 18
This series of interactive learning sessions is for coaches who are interested in adding facilitated learning experiences to their offerings. Each session mixes new learning and small group discussion to explore a different topic related to designing and delivering group learning opportunities.
If you’ve missed the previous sessions, you may still join the remaining ones. The series runs through July 15th.
Each session must be registered for individually; 1.5 CCEUs per session.

Amendment to Chapter By-laws
On April 30, 2025, the ICF-CT Board of Directors voted to amend the chapter by-laws. This action was taken for three reasons:
- Remove contradictory language related to election of board members,
- Change the term of the President to a two-year term, and
- Add an article related to the chapter’s financial operating procedures.
Per our by-laws, once the amendment has been approved by the board, the by-laws shall be posted on the website and the entire membership shall be invited to vote to approve them. They are now posted on the site for members to review
The ballot will be sent to all members at the end of the week and voting deadline is June 5, 2026. Be sure to log in to vote.
ICF-CT Chapter Board Election - Coming Soon!
We’re excited to announce that the ballot to vote on our 2026-2027 Board of Directors will be arriving in your inbox toward the end of the week. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of our chapter by voting for the leaders who will represent and support our coaching community.
